Description
The Ministry of Panchayati Raj, GoI had entrusted a pan India project to CGG. The objectives of the project include to systematically involve the higher level elected representatives in the socio-cultural, economic development of local self-governments, suggesting mechanisms for the higher-level elected representatives to articulate the needs for social justice, economic development of the local governments’ level in their respective forums such as Parliament, State Legislatures. The following are the key pillars for analysing the interface between the stakeholders:
- MPLADS by Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Govt. of India
- MLA LADS by respective State/ UT departments
- District Planning Committees (DPC)
- District Development Coordination and Monitoring (DISHA) Committees by Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India
- Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna (SAGY) by Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India
